| Job description: | An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Heating engineer working from the Newmarket Office covering from Newmarket to Milton Keynes, M25 to The Wash. |
| Duties & Responsibilities: | The role will be to carry out the Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive Activities in accordance with our contractual agreements on various Care Home, retail, and commercial contracts. A small amount of installation work will also be required. |
| Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required: | Essential skills •Must have extensive knowledge and experience of fault finding/repairing and installing all types of heating systems including Oil, Commercial & Domestic gas installations and LPG. •Must have current and up to date commercial & Domestic gas & LPG qualifications •Have a good all round knowledge of comfort cooling, fixed electrical systems & controls •Good interpersonal & communication skills. A flexible approach to the work/ clients requirements and be prepared to work out of hours when required. •Capable of responding to emergency & pressure situations both in normal & OOH •Have good organisation skills and have a positive attitude Preferred additional skills/Qualifications (not essential) •C&G or HNC/D Mechanical or Electrical •C&G 2078 Safe Handling Certificate or equivalent. |
