| Job description: | Our client is looking for an experienced HVAC Design / Project Engineer having worked in the offshore or building services industries. You should have some experience of carryingout design surveys, engineering calculations, estimating, preparing workpacks andoverall project management. Experience in using CAD is also preferred for at least one of the posts. Thesepositions will particularly suit applicants who are versatile and interested in developing their experience, primarily on offshore and overseas projects. Duties: Carry out Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) surveys Prepare quotations in response to client enquiries Co-ordinate and plan HVAC projects for onshore and offshore clients from conceptual design through to close out Carry out detailed design, calculations and drawings Carry out regular design and project reviews Create specifications and order materials and equipment Analyse and evaluate quotations Control project costs Liaise with the Client and suppliers Maintain project files and produce document packs Good communication skills in English (oral and written) required. Oil and Gas experience and valid Offshore Certificates would be advantageous, but are not essential. Remuneration package is negotiable dependant on experience. |
