| Job description: | We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced refrigeration and air conditioning service engineer. Our client is located in King's Lynn in Norfolk and require the engineer to be within a 45 minute travel time to our office. The position requires the candidate to have good refrigeration experience especially on large pack and chiller applications and also to have sound knowledge of air conditioning systems. There would be the occasional night away but not very often at all. The candidate would need to have at least 2078 safe handling of refrigerants and preferably 2079. The pay would be dependant upon experience but for the right person we would be looking at a starting salary of £12 - £12.50 per hour with yearly pay reviews. A company van, mobile phone, specialist tools, overtime and a pension scheme would all be provided. The working area is predominantly local or within 1 hour of kings Lynn although further on occasions Standby would be required and is currently 1 week in 5 (paid at a rate of £125.00 per week + overtime). Out of hours call outs are rare and usually only 3 a week or less. |
